If you have a chronic condition that hasn’t been responding to standard treatments, you may be eligible for medicinal cannabis to help manage your symptoms.

Determining eligibility
Medical conditions which may qualify for cannabinoid medicine:
- Cancer pain
- Palliative care
- Epilepsy
- Nausea and vomiting related to chemotherapy
- Fibromyalgia
- Spasticity from neurological conditions
- ADHD
- Autism
- Chronic pain
- Anxiety
- Chronic insomnia
- Migraine
- Neuropathic pain
- Multiple sclerosis
- PTSD
- IBS
- Movement disorders
Once you book a consultation, an eligibility form will be sent to your elected email address. This will need to be completed and returned at least 24 hours prior to your consultation.
If you are a new patient, you will need to bring with you:
- Up-to-date health summary
- Recent investigation reports
- The condition diagnosis
- Previous treatments trialled
Assessment
The first appointment will be an assessment that will go over your eligibility, condition, previous treatments trialled, and the formation of a treatment plan. Please be advised a script will not be issued in the first appointment and that eligibility is not guaranteed.

Treatment
As part of our treatment process, regular follow-ups will be made to monitor the treatment and for prescribing of further scripts.
You will also be given information about pharmacies you can access to dispense your script.
CHRONIC CONDITION MANAGEMENT
We encourage all our patients to be fully informed about their decisions with their health care.
Chronic condition management includes an array of treatment options, all of which can be discussed with your
doctor. This includes:
- Allied health therapies
- Medical procedures
- Self-care techniques
- Medications
Medicinal cannabis is one of the options that can be offered to eligible patients by our doctors.

FEES
Initial assessment:
$200.00 gap fee
Follow up consults:

If the assessment concludes you are eligible for medicinal cannabis there will be an initial $200.00 GAP administration fee.
